Our rubber bands are made by Indigenous communities in the Amazon who have long traditions in rubber tapping.  They have lived in the forest for centuries and understand how to tap without damaging the trees or changing the ecosystem in which they live, love and entirely rely on.  

Unfortunately choosing such a sustainable option is, like always, a much more costly choice than other less sustainable alternatives and we are in the process of applying for funding which will enable us to use them in all our products, not just some. But we don’t believe there is a price too high that isn't worth paying for such an important cause.
